The son of the German artist Ewerdt Hilgemann and my acquaintance in the 1970's with artists such as Francois Morellet, Ad Dekkers, herman de vries, Ulay, Panamarenko, Marinus Boezem, Sjoerd Buisman, Jan van Munster, Ryszard Winiarski, Zdenek Sykora, Norman Dilworth, Kenneth Martin, to name a few, initiated a key inspiration and basic experience for my later activities in the field of art.
